This thread has been created to talk about our beloved ( For most ) Umineko.
After much discussion following KnownoMore's infamous videos countering the silly "official" Shkannontrice explanation, it seems that we are in need of a battlefield to clear our mind and settle this all.

Knowledge of the original novel is of course needed, so George-san, you're out, sorry !

I, your host, am of course against this silly theory which doesn't make any sense, as such I will, helped by the VN red truths, try to prove how this theory is impossible.
Obviously, what is said in red is the truth.
Your goal will be to prove the Shkannontrice theory, but if you want to go against it I suppose there's no harm, just don't go saying nonsense. Of course anon-kun is forced to go with it ~

Oh, and for those of you who don't know what the Shkannontrice theory is, it's the belief that the culprit is the servant Yasu, which has two personnalities : Shannon and Kanon. Silly, right ~?
If you still don't get it just google it.

Well, I think we can cut right into the cake, right ? Let's begin !
This is from EP3, 1st twilight :

I think it would be very hard for Yasu (if she existed) would have told Battler everything at some point during the two days. That's why I think the parts that Battler can't possibly know himself must prove that the games we are shown aren't exactly what the letters contain.

I'm sure I could compile a very long list of things Battler knew when it should have been impossible for him, and in doing so show what Yasu must have told him (by the official explanation).

Still, even if I find it unlikely I can't dispute the possibility. I resign again. Maybe all this is true...

For the record, the scene at the very end where Battler and Beatrice talk on the boat seems to strongly give the impression that Battler already totally understands her at that point.

I don't find that scene very believable at all. Why would Battler be fine with a ride on a small motorboat without his usual fear of falling?

I find it odd too, but I don't see why the scene would be there if there wasn't some truth to it, even if it may be embellished somewhat.

And Battler did seem okay on the boat once the captain slowed down a bit.

I have to agree with RIKA-Beatrice there, even with all the howdunnits solved, I can't make a fitting theory for the who and whydunnits.
This truly was a great gameboard.

It's a shame Kinjo forgot to check some of the primordials red though, to have come up with this silly theory.
Well, who am I to say that even though I don't even have a theory ?

Thank you, and yes I will reveal the answer.

With the way the game ended, I've decided it will be best to reveal the answer in a different fashion. To elaborate; early near the start of this game's progression, Kinjo informed me he would convert this into a visual novel fan-game once it was done(i.e. like his "When the Seacats Cry").

It seems the most fitting this way because I can have the game end how I intended(if Kinjo had beat Erika and went back to the gameboard etc). This should be a good way to reveal the answer along with some epic grand finales.
After all, we already have all the images, music, and script needed to convert it.

So, if anyone is dying to know the answer you'll have to wait until then.

Good game, Ozaki.

After telling me the answer it really is a well-crafted gameboard. I wish I had done better before the Meta-World section but I guess I'm just not cut out for being a detective.

See you next time, when the seacats cry.

This gameboard have been opened for the sake of Chen, She shall be assisted for however she wants.
The gameboard will be a traditional one, and it will be a full gameboard, meaning six round of murders a.k.a 10 twilights.

Everyone was shocked to see Natsuhi's annoucement:
Father said that if we talk about the testament, he was going to disinherit all of you, and that he will donate all the Ushiromiya money to the charity.

Eva yelled and insulted Natsuhi.
and Natsuhi with an Iron will said that Eva was lewd and that its a shame that she is an Ushiromiya.

Suprisingly to all, Eva and Natsuhi started to laugh, both apogolized, and decided to held an sleepover with Kyrie, Maria , Rosa and Jessica with Shannon and Kumasawa
as the ones that will assist them.

The girls went to Natsuhi's room.... Shannon and Kumasawa went to sleep to leave them alone.....then they saw a shadow entering the room and when they opened the room. THE SIX OF THEM WERE DEAD AND THERE WASN'T A TRACE OF THE SEVENTH PERSON THAT ENTERED.

This is a simple gameboard. Squitcher should be able to solve this. The fundamental rules are the same as any other gameboard:

Words in red are truth, and blue must deny the Witch.

Additionally, there will be no wordplay, where a word has multiple meanings of which an unusual one is used, and dead people are dead.

Naturally, that daughter of a whore Erika killed George, then with her lewd lubricated swimsuit squeezed through the door opening! The door was locked using Garashi's key, and George was murdered before the story.

... What ?

After George's death, the key in Garashi's possession was never used to lock the door!

Did I ever say Garashi's key was the key she possessed? As an additional trick I had prepared, Garashi and George's keys were swapped, so George had Garashi's master key and Garashi had George's cabin key.

You said just now,

"After killing Genji they locked the door and left through the window."

However, the narration text during the discovery of the crime said this:

"Battler carefully puts his hand on the doorknob and gives it a twist, but does not open it. It seems that it isn't locked."

And quite so, we are able to enter without using a key to unlock the door.

But you just said that they locked the door, then left through the window! So who unlocked it?!

L O G I C E R R O R ! ! !

>implying setting a chain doesn't effectively lock a door

"It's called a chain lock for a reason you know. Maybe you want me to be more specific, I may consider it if you kissed my shoes.

Then again, if you're that desperate for the win maybe you should put some effort towards actually solving the mysteries."
