Quote pls. Rarity just means we can't buy items that aren't Common, so you'll have to check the other characters for that too.

It's not a big problem for just noble though since summoned armor is useless.

Meaningless, not even a quote. He could easily have chosen other types of magic armor, but there wasn't much point because dwarven armor upgrade.

Come to think of it, our version of the magic item upgrade ritual may be that we can only upgrade the basic "Magic" equipment into other types of equipment, and equipment that already has a special property can only be upgraded into its higher leveled counterpart. Therefore, choosing Magic Armor served a crucial purpose for Michael.

I'm not upgrading this so it's fine right.
